Kahiltna Annie works with the air taxi companies, helping to transmit weather conditions, and inform the companies that their clients are ready to return. She also distributes plastic sled rentals and pre-purchased white gas to climbers. As a special treat, she also welcomes climbers returning from their adventure with cold lemonade, and maybe even a beer. Annie spends the entire season (May thru August) in her little hut at the landing zone.
