We met Vern at the landing zone. He was guiding a trip, and was waiting for his clients to arrive. He is a very friendly guy, and was happy to pose with us. 

The guitar that you see in the background was part of his Tejas' official Denali gear. There was some heavy duty partying going on in his camp each night. His assistant carried a mandolin, and with the addition of a couple of harmonicas, and some pots and pans, they were jammin!
