Was it fun?

If I could only pick one word to describe the trip, I don't think "fun" would be the word. Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of moments of fun, but fun just wasn't the most predominant feature of the trip.
Picture yourself in a work camp with two of your best friends, in an absolutely beautiful location. If all you had to do was just sit around and play chess, this would be a paradise. Instead, you have to do the job of a work horse for long hours. You can't really talk to anybody all day because you are too far apart. The food sucks, and at the end of the day all you want to do is sleep. There's a giant paycheck, making it all worth while, waiting at the end of three long hard weeks, but you are not guaranteed to get one!
Now I can only speak for myself (Stevo) of course, but besides the many moments of "fun", there were moments of "loneliness", "anxiety", "tranquility", "adventure", "success", "doubt", etc. I had some wonderful moments that I just don't get in my regular day to day life.
It was an experience that I will never forget, and may very well be the biggest mountaineering adventure of my life.
