Sometime around the beginning of the 1995, we contacted The Denali Overland Transportation
Co. They sent us some information about their transportation services, and on Feb 22 we
mailed off an $80.00 non-refundable deposit. An additional charge of $95.00 each was
required upon arrival. All together it cost us $121.66 each for the ground transportation
between Anchorage and Talkeetna. It was no problem for them to pick us up at the airport late at night. Our flight was delayed, and we did not arrive in Anchorage until 12:30 AM. Adding a 45 minute stop at a grocery store along the way, we were in Talkeetna around 3:30 AM. |
